Dear Client,
The European Union has set up a website to support consumers to present their complaints about any disputes they are involved in. In this case, we provide all the information so that you can exercise your right of complaint to an official impartial third party (“dispute resolution entity”) that will help you solve the dispute in question.
Therefore, if you felt unsatisfied with the purchase of a good/ service or the solution that we presented to solve the situation, you can access this verified site https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show and expose your dispute.
What is the alternative dispute resolution?
The Alternative Dispute Resolution is the possibility that all consumers have tat their disposal to appeal to official entities that can help them to solve a conflict or to guide them through before they open a lawsuit in the courts.
As a principle, the procedure is the following: the costumer asks to an impartial third party to act as a intermediary between you and the trader who is subject of your complain. The intermediary can advise a solution to your complaint, impose a solution on both parties, or even bring parties to find a solution together.
Perhaps you can recognize the concept of alternative dispute resolution by another alias: ‘mediation’, ‘conciliation’,’ arbitration’, or ‘competent commission in the field of consumer disputes’.
Typically, the alternative dispute resolution is less expensive, less formal and faster than the legal route.
In case of consumer litigation, the consumer can appeal to the following entities for alternative resolution of consumer disputes:
